Our Farm

The Farmhouse

We are an organic farmhouse located in Alghero, offering accommodation in rooms surrounded by natural beauty. At Fattoria La Traccia, you can choose to relax and enjoy breakfast made from our land’s produce or immerse yourself more fully in the farm’s activities. Everything we offer comes from our garden, animals, and production, so we host only a limited number of visitors and do not offer mass catering. Our vision of a farmhouse is simple: “A place to eat wholesomely, make your own products, and reconnect with nature.” Come visit us to experience it firsthand—words can only convey so much!

Phiylosophy

The trace we want to leave is one of sustainability. Our goal is to shift a system that no longer works from an environmental standpoint, showing that living in symbiosis with nature is not only possible but also enjoyable. Sustainability for us isn’t about “greenwashing” an unhealthy lifestyle. Instead, we promote true, transparent wellbeing for both people and the environment. Sustainability is not something to “apply” to daily life; rather, it’s about actions that naturally integrate with nature and our surroundings. Fattoria La Traccia is a place of reconnection—a space where people can rediscover themselves, escape from daily stresses, breathe fresh air, and enjoy life away from the tensions of modern living. Here, you can learn where your food comes from, rediscovering nature as the first and ultimate supplier. After years of fighting against nature, we’ve come to understand that this battle has worsened both our lifestyle and the health of the planet.

Who We Are?

Hello! We are Antonio, Daniela, and Marilena, and our family has grown to include all the animals that are part of it: cows, sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, bees, pigs, rabbits, and more. We wanted to raise our daughter, Marilena, in a place where she could directly engage with nature, and soon realized others should have that chance too. Thus, Fattoria La Traccia was born. Antonio, a breeder for generations, already managed the Pianos farm. A steward of Sardinian biodiversity, he protects fragile species, especially the forest. Today, Antonio’s farm is the first Italian cattle farm to graze animals in an FSC-certified cork forest and operate organically. Daniela, hailing from Campania, grew up immersed in her family farm Agricola Villa Lupara. She inherited her parents’ passion for nature, hospitality, and environmental advocacy. We’ve combined our experiences to create Fattoria La Traccia, a place that will always be a home for those wanting to experience it.
